The Londonderry High School Marching Lancer Band and Colorguard will return to New York City to perform in the 258th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The parade is the largest civilian parade in the world and has marched for more than 250 years! The parade is viewed by an estimated 2 million spectators along the route on Manhattan’s 5th Avenue.

The Marching Lancers will join approximately 150,000 other marchers in the 1.5 mile long parade. The parade travels north on 5th Avenue, starting at 44th Street and ending at 79th Street. Along the way the marchers pass a number of NYC landmarks including St Patrick’s Cathederal, Rockefeller Center, Central Park, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
