A first for the Londonderry HS Music program is planned for Saturday, May 7th at 7pm as Nick DeFrancesco produces, directs and performs in, “A Musical Night with Nick and Friends: A Senior Project” at the Derry Opera House. The evening will feature performances by Nick, Devereux Geiger, Jamie Boccia, and others, along with members of the LHS Jazz Ensemble. Tickets will go on sale Wednesday April 6th at the Friends of Music meeting. or by calling (603) 493-3869
The event will also be a fundraiser to establish scholarships for music lessons for students dedicated to the serious study of both instrumental and vocal music, particularly geared to those interested in pursuing All-State recognition, or those seeking a musical career. 100% of the funds from this event will go to the LHS Music Department Scholarship Fund.
