The Londonderry High School Marching Lancer Band and Colorguard will return to New York City to perform in this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The parade is the largest civilian parade in the world and has marched for more than 250 years! The parade is viewed by an estimated 2 million spectators along the route on Manhattan’s 5th Avenue.
The Marching Lancers will join approximately 150,000 other marchers in the 1.5 mile long parade. The parade travels north on 5th Avenue, starting at 44th Street and ending at 79th Street. Along the way the marchers pass a number of NYC landmarks including St Patrick’s Cathederal, Rockefeller Center, Central Park, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Lancer Drumline at TD Garden
The Lancer Drumline will be returning to Boston Garden’s fabled parquet for a performance during the half time of the Celtic’s game on Friday, January 30th.
The performance, at the TD Bank Boston Garden, will take place during the NBA game between the Celtics and the Houston Rockets. Look for them on TV Friday evening!
The Marching Lancers have been invited to march on the ice during the Manchester Monarchs vs Bridgeport Sound Tigers game on Saturday, February 14th. Game time is 3:00pm.
Discounted tickets will be sold for only $12! These seats normally sell for $25. Tickets will be sold at all upcoming Londonderry school concerts and FOM Meetings in January and February.

In addition to the Salem Band Show, we have a few more away football games and then we go into Holiday Parade Season. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. Donation cart will be available this Saturday for student drop-off.
The Marching Lancer Band and Colorguard will be performing at the Salem Band Show this Saturday evening, October 11th. The popular event brings together more that a dozen area high schools to present their half time shows in exhibition.
The show will be held at the Salem High field starting at 6pm. The Lancers are scheduled to perform at 7:50pm but the schedule is subject to change. Participating schools will include Salem, Alvirne, Pinkerton, Nashua North & South, Manchester West & Spaulding. Also performing this year will be the UMass Lowell Marching Band and UNH.
Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for children and can only be purchased on-site.
Arrive early for the best parking and seating. Salem High is located on Geremonty Dr. and is easily accessible from I-93 exit 1 or 2:
- From I-93 exit 1, follow signs towards Route 28. Cross Route 28, then take a left onto Geremonty Drive, Salem High will be on your left.
- From I-93 exit 2, head east on Main St, crossing Route 28. Take right onto Geremonty Drive after Kelley Library. Salem High will be on your right

The parade, which starts at 1pm, begins on Old Manchester Rd in Raymond, heads up to Main St, onto and then down Epping St., ending at ARGO Cycles (63 Epping St).

DON’T FORGET: Band Practice Thursday 8/21 – 6:00 – 9:00PM
The parade, which starts at 10am, begins on School St in Allenstown, turns right on Main St, passing through downtown Pembroke before turning left onto Broadway and then Pleasant St.
Good viewing can be found along Main St near the Suncook River or in downtown Pembroke.
