The Londonderry, New HampshireMarching Lancers and Color Guard have been invited - and have accepted to perform in CHINA as part of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Cultural Festival. This is a once-in-a-lifetime educational experience for these students.
Only two US bands have accepted this offer.
This will cost about one-million fundraising dollars, for this public school band. This cost falls soley on the students and their parents - and sponsors like yourself - not on tax dollars.
