Thursday, September 20, 2002. Atlantic City, New Jersey. The Londonderry Marching Lancers arrived - some 220 strong - to the boardwalk tonight to see the final preliminary event of the Miss America pageant (above). Below, Lancers react to Miss New Hampshire's introduction.
	The rotation of the several nights of preliminary rounds ended tonight with Mary Morin, Miss New Hampshire, performing in the talent round - with 220 more vocal supporters than one day earlier. Dinner, prior to the preliminary event, was at Planet Hollywood (left).
