The Lancers are grateful for the generosity of local
merchants, their clients, past band members and the
Friends of Music in the form of donations, time and
ideas. The efforts of the community make all these
events possible!
It
took well over $300,000 to move the 242 Marching
Lancer and Color Guard members to their third performance
at the Tournament of Roses Parade® in Pasadena
California.
From
fundraising with everything from chocolate to coffee,
t-shirts (right) ornaments, haunted houses, doing
yard work, car washes and walk-a-thons - and working
at their various jobs.

Londonderry Marching Lancers members take part in
the
10 mile walk-a-thon on Saturday, September 20.
The
walk was both a fundraiser and a way of tuning up
for their 5.5 mile January appearance at
The Tournament of Roses Parade®
on New Year's Day.

HOW
IT STARTED...
11.01.02.
Tonight started
like a normal football game. At the half, the band entered
from the north end of the field for their Superhero
half-time show. However, something a little different
in the PA announcer's script tonight surprised the band,
and the crowd...
